This episode discusses the possibility of life on other planets, especially Mars. The abridged version was also produced when this was originally released. Mars has without doubt a solid grip on our imagination: a planet with a strong and fiery environment that holds a compelling attraction upon us, humans. Compiled by Back to Mars especially for Omveda Records, Beyond The Red Planet showcases music with a similar fierce energy that the red planet radiates. Powered by LuneCell, Gabaa, Aranyo, Weirdbass & Golem, Niria, Kontrol Z & Venus and Braindrop, this new VA is a journey into 9 tracks that represent night Psytrance at it’s most powerful and yet subtle varieties: Deep, atmospheric, spacey and groovy psychedelic.

Life on Mars?", also known as "(Is There) Life on Mars?", is a song by David Bowie, first released in 1971 on the album Hunky Dory and also released as a single. The song, with cryptic lyrics by Bowie and prominent piano by Rick Wakeman. When released as a single in 1973, "Life on Mars?" reached number three in the UK Singles Chart and stayed on the chart for thirteen weeks. A music video was filmed by Mick Rock to promote the single release.
