I read Dr. Cheney's article on Klonopin (thinking of asking for it from my doc) but most authorities disagree with him and think that it disturbs deep/delta sleep. What has been your experience? Likewise, is anyone out there like me and have a really hard time falling asleep even if drugged. because I can not afford Ambien. He said it DOES promote delta sleep. I sleep pretty well on it! It doesn't put you to sleep as fast as Ambien, but I do not have tossing and turning can't sleep episodes. Both only keep me alseep for 2 hrs. before waking up. Anyway, I've been reading how terrible Klonopin is and how hard it is going to be to withdraw so I'm now scared. I asked the dr about it and he said yes, It willl have to be tapered off for a couple months. Great, why did he give it to me in the first place and keep me on it for a month when it obviously wasn't working
