  • Yozshugore
Sounds great! No problem with vinyl pressing. I just got mine. I wonder if it’s a repress. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Mine comes tomorrow, wish I read this before but this movie and soundtrack blew me away, had to have it
  • Bajinn
Great list of songs...awful sound and production. Better to buy the 12 inch of the songs you like
  • Xcorn
RapidoPinguino Great list of songs...awful sound and production. Better to buy the 12 inch of the songs you like or download the torrent in flac with best sound lol
  • Brightfury
Very good soundtrack and excellent film but the sound is awful on vinyl.
  • Natety
I got this in the mail from Amazon the other day and it doesn't sound nearly as terrible as I was led to believe here. It's not the greatest pressing ever, but it's fine for a soundtrack that is essentially a compilation of music sourced from a variety of places.

I just received my copy on March 2, 2018. I live in the USA and ordered through Amazon it is currently going to be re-released on March 16th again -- I don't know if that will be a different pressing. The back says that the vinyl is made in France. The pressing is okay --- I don't know about any cracks and pops. I think it could be louder or the volume could be more consistent throughout. I'm mad about Lil Louis French Kiss not being on the soundtrack as well. I agree with the other user. Noe uses the music tastefully in the films -- It is a different experience hearing the music in the movies versus having the actual soundtrack. When we hear the credits the Daft Punk version is way better. Even Dickmatized I love watching it in the film, but I find myself skipping the soundtrack version. What Noe does in the film with Tainted Love is also amazing - There's a transition between Tainted Love and Where Did Our Love Go and it expresses the "coming down" aspect -- You can't really hear the lyrics just the sound in the film. I guess I can't be picky. When I saw the soundtrack list a year ago I was so excited. To think Aphex Twin and Lil Louis and all these incredible artists would be in a movie let alone a Noe movie -- I was hyped. I am glad to own the vinyl. The packaging is beautiful. There is a beautiful insert and I love how the sangria bowl is the vinyl sticker and how it rotates when you are playing the record. If there is a new pressing in mid-March let me know if anyone gets it and the quality of the sound is better. I don't know if it's a pressing issue or if it an individual track issue and the soundtrack producers simply using what they were provided by the other artists and companies. Definitely get this vinyl especially for 27.00 it's a fun compilation.

Superb Music, nice gatefold cover, but the pressing is below average. I checked two copies of the release. In both cases the second record was slightly warped. The dynamics between the tracks is very variable. Some Songs sounds very dynamic and loud, others flat and quiet. There are some pops and cracks, especially noticeable at the end of the track "Angie". VERY loud cracks at the end. As already mentioned I had two copies and on both the song has the same loud pops in exactly the same places. Maybe a mistake in the Pressing Master? I don't know...The same goes for the Gary Numan track: At the end there are strong interfering noises, which are not normal. This soundtrack on vinyl has some weaknesses in sound quality and press quality, but if you like the music, especially the dance tracks and you aren't very picky, these weaknesses can be tolerated. With the exception of "Angie" and "Trois Gymnopedies", where the noise at the end is very strong, the records are good to listen to and on the techno tracks the light pops are not a big issue. Still, I wouldn't say this is a good vinyl-release. If you care about flawless sound, you better buy the CD.

  • Gianni_Giant
The music from this film is fantastic. Would highly recommend watching the film. A huge fan of Gaspar Noe, but the music placement throughout is superb!
  • Ieregr
What is the pressing quality of the record like please?
  • Nakora
Interested in some more reviews on the pressing quality please.
  • Urllet
mine copy has some pops, cracklings! not the best pressing, unfortunately!
  • Vetalol
Are you satisfied with your vinyls ? Crackling, poping and sometimes the sound doesn't satisfy me like the beginning of Solidit (Climax Edit) by Chris Carter. Let me know if I'm crazy or not.
  • AfinaS
I can say the same on my copy.Low sound, some cracks. But Soundlisting is great. No download link is although a bad point today.
