In Concert is a live double album, recorded by Derek and the Dominos in October 1970 at the Fillmore East and released January 1973. Six of the album's nine tracks were later included on the 1994 album Live at the Fillmore. The three songs not included are "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad," "Let It Rain," & "Tell the Truth. Live at the Fillmore also includes these songs, although they are from different sets than the ones appearing here.

Unravelling the Derek And the Dominos In Concert album and its subsequent incarnations is a bit like doing a jigsaw puzzle. The different versions, culled from different shows, make it extremely complicated to untangle. In reality, six of the nine tracks released as In Concert, and three of its five previously unreleased performances, are different recordings of songs that featured on In Concert.

It was also, other than Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert - which actually took place in the same month that this set was issued, and was issued eight months later - the only new Clapton material that anyone would see for over a year, as the guitarist struggled through personal turmoil that included heroin addiction. No one who wasn't personally close to him knew that at the time - this and the Rainbow Concert album were issued to keep his name before the public.

Released in 1973, In Concert is the first live album released from Derek and the Dominos and their second album overall. The album was recorded at the Fillmore East in New York City on October 22 and 23 of 1970. More songs from the same concerts can be found on Live at The Fillmore, the band’s second live album. All of the songs featured on this album were as well featured on Live at the Fillmore, although three of them are different performances than those featured on In Concert.

Derek and the Dominos were an English–American blues-rock band formed in the spring of 1970 by guitarist and singer Eric Clapton, keyboardist and singer Bobby Whitlock, bassist Carl Radle and drummer Jim Gordon. All four members had previously played together in Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, during and after Clapton's brief tenure with Blind Faith

Derek & The Dominos Format: Vinyl. Audio CD, Live, Import, October 25, 1990. The tape is completely scratched and sounds terrible. Very upsetting since this is a great album. Would not recommend using this seller.
