Cherrelle's follow-up album, High Priority, was certified gold and produced the Top 40 hit and the R&B hit "Saturday Love"; a duet with Alexander O'Neal, it would also land in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 6. Cherrelle and O'Neal would have another Top 40 single with "Never Knew Love Like This", which peaked at US pop in 1988, and R&B. A remixed version of "Saturday Love" on Tabu Records reached in the UK Singles Chart in early 1990 - "Still in Love with You" - 1997. Baby, Come to Me" (with Alexander O'Neal) - - 56. The Right Time.
Contemporary critics were generally positive with "Still in Love with You" who declared it brisk and dreamy. In 2003, the track was awarded the NRJ Music Award in the Best German Song category. The single proved to be commercially successful upon its release, charting at number two in Germany, continuing the band's string of top ten hits. Still in Love with You" also reached number four in Austria and number ten on the Swiss Singles Chart while it also entered the top forty of the airplay charts in Hungary. In 1984, under the production of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Cherrelle released her debut album, Fragile. It featured her first R&B top ten single, "I Didn't Mean to Turn You On". That song (with a music video homage to the film King Kong, featuring Cherrelle as the beast's love interest) was covered about a year later by pop singer Robert Palmer on his 1985 album Riptide.

Each successive Hi album has intensified and polished Green’s unique approach while it narrowed his range of material. So the songs get better (or at least stay within a few points of Tired of Being Alone and Let’s Stay Together, which would be difficult to surpass) but they also get to be more and more the same. But like I said, I’m not complaining This is what they are: I’m Still in Love with You opens the album with one of Green’s more extraordinary vocals. The line, I’. rapped up in your love, delivered twice, is sung high, almost disappearing at the end of his range, and yet enveloping - the perfect vocal equivalent of being hugged tightly in someone’s arms. He stretches the word heaven and it shimmers or he dips his voice down low at the end of a line as if to insinuate it into every possible corner of the song.
I love Cherrelle! I was and still am a big fan from back in the early 1980's! I always thought that she was really attractive and could totally really sing her butt off! However, for a guy listening to this CD, a lot of Cherrelle's material on this album seems to be aimed more at the women in her audience than the men. Hey, there ain't nothing wrong with that! Yet, I simply bought this album just to complete my collection of Cherrelle's albums and was just going to pull it out every once in awhile or whenever I wanted to hear some late '80's R&B records
The album's centerpiece is a six-minute-plus cover of the Bee Gees' ballad "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart", on which his vocal is so light and flexible it seems to be fluttering in the breeze coming off the drums.
