Gabríela Friðriksdóttir (born in 1971 in Reykjavík, Iceland) is an Icelandic artist and sculptor. Outside of her contributions in the art world, she is known for her collaboration with the Icelandic musician and superstar Björk. The two have collaborated on Björk's 2002 CD box set Family Tree and on the 2005 video for Björk's song Where is the Line from the album Medúlla.

Gabríela Friðriksdóttir. 25 Sep – 15 Nov 2009. Darkroom presents Tetralógia (2005), a video work based on Icelandic mythology by Gabríela Friðriksdóttir (b. 1971). Oral tradition is a central part of Icelandic culture. Friðriksdóttir says that she wants to follow Icelandic thinking to achieve a kind of discussion, but without actual dialogue. Although the listeners are silent, they are not passive. The exhibition is supported by the Finnish-Icelandic Cultural Foundation. Meeting with the artist. On Thursday 24 September 2009 Gabríela Friðriksdóttir will speak in English about her artistic practice in the Kuvateatteri (Picture Theatre) of the Turku Arts Academy (Linnankatu 54–60) starting at 2 pm. Admission is free and the meeting is open to the public.
