Weekend Nachos Weekend Nachos are all about their catchiness, their awesome groove parts, and their harsh vocals. There's no arguing with their unique blend of powerviolence, grindcore, and hardcore. Apology Chicago’s WEEKEND NACHOS go out in a storm of hatred with the release of their final album 'Apology'. Recorded by the band's own Andy Nelson at Bricktop Studios (Lord Mantis, Like Rats, Harms Way), 'Apology' is a veritable tornado of nce/hardcore savagery. Apology' is thirteen tracks of utter punishment that sees WEEKEND NACHOS sounding more dangerous and urgent than ever before. Features guest vocal appearances from Dylan Walker of Full of Hell.
Weekend Nachos are a four-piece ce band from Chiacgo, Illinois that formed in 2004. They've been killing it since then, knocking out solid album after solid album. Their earlier material definitely shows off their powerviolence side (especially the Infest influence), with songs averaging 30 seconds long, discernible blast beats, buzzing guitars, and break-neck vocals. Although those elements are definitely still there in their more recent material, the hardcore influence and attitude seeps through a lot more
Weekend Nachos is a band from Dekalb, IL formed in 2004. The original lineup was John Hoffman, Adam Inverted, Ron and Andyzarian. Currently, the only remaining original members are John, the vocalist, and Andy on guitar. They are comprised now of Juan Ciudado, Byron Leuders on drums, Andy, and Drew Brown on bass.
Chicago's Weekend Nachos came into being in 2004, during a time when the North American underground metal and hardcore scene was thriving and commingling at an unredecented pace. The nascent influence of the Internet and social media had begun to allowthe little guys to build a countrywide (sometimes world-wide) following; it seemed like everyone and their dog was going on tour or getting signed, and the relative ease of interacting with fans and setting up tours led to more and more bands getting their music out to the masses. Given that it is now or never, I wanted to discuss the band’s history and their future plans with vocalist and founding member John Hoffman. It was kind of just a fun thing at first, and we actually had a demo ready to go by the first show.
