Armed and Dangerous is the first EP by American heavy metal band Anthrax, released in February 1985 through Megaforce Records. The band produced the album with Carl Canedy and Jon Zazula acting as executive producer. This is the first Anthrax release to feature Joey Belladonna on vocals. The 1992 issue includes the songs "Soldiers of Metal" and "Howling Furies" as its last two tracks.

Produced by Anthrax, Jon Zazula & Carl Canedy. Album Armed and Dangerous. Armed and Dangerous Lyrics. Fire burns in my veins Anger shows on my face Hatred poisons my soul Look out, I'm about to explode. Evil ones try to destroy us We're armed and prepared for attack We'll take on the world with rebellion We're dangerous down to the last. Armed and dangerous Oh-oh, armed and dangerous. Ooh, am I evil or am I insane? The lion inside of me is no longer tame A blade in my left, ooh, a gun in my right To beat you within an inch of your life. Evil ones try to destroy us We're armed and prepared for attack We'll take on the world with rebellion We're dangerous down.

Armed And Dangerous ‎(Cass, Album, Unofficial). Released in 1985, prior to Anthrax's second album, 'Armed and Dangerous' is a seven-song EP which saw the debut of new and highly revered vocalist Joey Belladonna. Similar in style to the band's debut album, the only notable difference here is Belladonna's vocals, which sound a lot more confident and more powerful than former singer Neil Turbin. And while the music is still very raw early 80's thrash, there's a marked improvement in the performances by everyone involved, with a slightly more competent approach to songwriting

Armed and Dangerous is the first EP by American heavy metal band Anthrax, released in February 1985 through Megaforce Records. The line-up for those two tracks is Neil Turbin, Scott Ian, Dan Spitz, Greg D'Angelo (except where Charlie Benante rerecorded the drums), and Dan Lilker  .

With the album split between vocalists Neil Turbin and Joey Belladonna, one can see why the latter got to keep his job. Turbin's high-register yelp is an acquired taste, lacking the emphasis that the material needs. He can hit the notes, but he lacks the presence that would make Belladonna more effective. Luckily, he is only present on the last two tracks, which were not originally on the album but made it onto the CD release.

ALBUM INFORMATION This album is called ''Armed And Dangerous'' and this was the first album with the bands new singer Joey Belladonna. The album does not have many songs, there are both studio songs, a Sex Pistols cover and some live tracks as well. Maybe not one of the bands most successful albums but it was still a good piece of entertainment, both vocally and instrumentally. I thought that Joey was a great replacement for Anthrax, the band got a whole different sound that attracted more people and took the band to newer levels in their career. This was almost like an american counter part to England's Iron Maiden in my opinion. If you have heard the material on their first album ''Fistful Of Metal'' you can imagine who this might sound like, songs like Panic and Soldiers Of Metal sounds almost exactly like the original recordings except for the new vocals.
