Not knowing what to expect from this tribute album, I was very pleasantly surprised!! This music is awesome - some very interesting twists on some incredible to start with music. I have been a fan for the past 20+ years and grew up listening to all these songs. it's really nice to hear different twists on them. No offense Blondie!) These woman also have some incredible voices. I have to agree with most people that the other 'Blondie Tribute' albums ("How Many Bands Does It Take to Screw up a Blondie Tribute" and the one with the Blondie postage stamp on the cover) sound like the same band doing all the songs. THIS ONE HOWEVER, has some interesting twists and turns on how the songs sound. I like the fact that they didn't just try to make the same version a la 'Blondie'. NO!, they did something different to the songs. Shayla" was made upbeat.
Hailed as pop-rock perfection, ‘Parallel Lines’ made Blondie global icons for the new wave, influencing successive generations of New York bands. Published on. February 15, 2019. It’s hard to imagine how rock would have evolved without Blondie ’s landmark third album, Parallel Lines. Its influence is easily detectable in the DNA of successive generations of New York bands, from Yeah Yeah Yeahs to The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem, and its seemingly ageless cool has led to it moving over 20 million copies worldwide

NotesConsists of remakes copying the instrumentation of the originals and featuring sound-alike vocalists. Whether the groups listed actually exist or are just fake artist names given to each track to make them seem legitimate is in question, but the latter seems likelier.
