The Best Of: Volume 1 is a greatest hits collection by Australian alternative rock band Silverchair, which was issued on 13 November 2000. It includes every single they had released up until that point, except "Shade". The album peaked at No. 15 on the ARIA Albums Chart. In March 1999, after the release of Neon Ballroom, Silverchair's three-album contract with Murmur and Sony Music had ended. After leaving the label, Sony issued The Best Of: Volume 1 without the band's consent.

Silverchair Interview. By. Jon. - July 13, 2007. When someone mentions the band Silverchair, your first thought or memory will vary depending on where you’re from. and Europe may only remember Silverchair as a few kids who skyrocketed to stardom in 1994 after their first album, Frogstomp. Silverchair’s latest album, Young Modern, is their first new record in 6 years, and the tour supporting it will be their first . tour in over a decade. Even though Silverchair was in the middle of launching their . tour, Daniel Johns and Chris Joannou found a little time to do a quick interview with MethodShop. They were humble, candid and even funny.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Silverchair (Charlottesville, VA) in December 2017. I originally applied for Associate SQA. I submitted my application online.
