Mort aux Vaches is the name of a series of albums released by the Staalplaat record label in collaboration with the Dutch radio station, VPRO. The name translates literally from French as Death to Cows, with cows being French slang for cops - it is equivalent to Death to Pigs in English. Each album in the series is a live session by a particular artist, recorded in the VPRO studios.

"SEN" is the 2nd full length Troum-album, it was originally released in the "Mort aux Vaches"-series as a CD in an edition of 600 copies, September 2000.The album was recorded 'live in the studio' in Amsterdam at the VPRO studios in December 1999 in one take with no overdubs. A vinyl re-issue (double pic-LP) was released on Equation Records in early 2008. This is the first CD re-issue. Thanks to Vladimir Manevtsov to make this re-edition possible.
