Album · 2011 · 1 Song. Liberated - Single ED Live. Listen on Apple Music.
Liberated' by ED Live was the theme track for MasterPeace (an organisation which aims to promote the message of peace through music and New Media), on all the Dutch Liberation Festivals which occurred on the 5th of May. What's on offer is quality driving tech trance, with strong synth parts, a rockin' bassline and punchy percussion! Support from G&M Project, Swartz & Schulner and Stuart Millar.
LIBERATED BOOTLEG as this has made it rounds over the years for sale as an unauthorized bootleg.
A terrible example of this was the Islamic State terrorist attack which killed 39 European tourists including two Germans, while they were relaxing on the beach and round their hotel in Tunisia in 2015. The gunman was reported to have trained at a jihadist camp in neighboring Libya, 'liberated' by NATO in 2011. German troops were not deployed directly in that action (though there was behind-the-scenes assistance) but German holidaymakers paid the blood price.
Alive is the debut solo album by Ed Kowalczyk, lead singer of the band Live. Kowalczyk entered the studio in early 2010 to record material that he began writing in 2008. He wrote songs for Alive with an acoustic guitar, as he had when he wrote for Live. The lyrics on Alive feature much religious and spiritual imagery. Kowalczyk's acknowledgement of his faith is much more explicit on this album than it was on his work with Live. The album entered Billboard's Christian albums chart at number six.
Liberated Fantasies is primarily an album of instrumental jazz fusion, although three of the tunes offer R&B or rock vocals. Singer Napoleon Brock provides an enjoyable rock vocal on "Tryin' and Cryin'," and Duke's lead singing on the funky "Don't Be Shy" and the mellow soul number "Seeing You" give listeners a taste of what was to come on albums like 1977's Reach for It, 1978's Don't Let Go and 1979's Follow the Rainbow.
