This band produced another Lemonheads album, Car Button Cloth The band contributed to Schoolhouse Rock! Rocks, a 1996 tribute album for Schoolhouse Rock! creator Thomas G. Yohe, which contained remakes of many popular "Schoolhouse Rock!" songs – The Lemonheads offered their take on "My Hero Zero. During this time, Dando released a live album Live at the Brattle Theatre in 2001, and a solo album in 2003, titled Baby I'm Bored. He also co-wrote the song "The Last High" with Courtney Taylor-Taylor of The Dandy Warhols for the album Welcome to the Monkey House by The Dandy Warhols. Return (2005–present). The Lemonheads is the eighth studio album by the Lemonheads and the first after their return from a nine-year hiatus. On April 26, 2006, it was announced that the Lemonheads had signed to Vagrant Records.

The Lemonheads has been played on NTS shows including Round Trip, with Luka first played on 18 May 2013. The Lemonheads are an American alternative rock band, originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but now based in New York City. The primary (and only consistent) member is Evan Dando. The band formed in 1986 as an underground punk rock act. Their popularity grew during the following decade with the 1992 album It's A Shame About Ray, which was produced, engineered, and mixed by The Robb Brothers (Bruce Robb, Dee, and Joe), followed by a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's.
