Pras' single, "Ghetto Supastar," was omnipresent in 1998 on radio, on MTV and blasting from car stereos, and with good reason; it's an absolutely irresistible combination of funky bass and drums, excellent rapping from Pras and ODB and angelic singing by Mya. He apparently was under a lot of pressure to produce the full-length follow-up, and the result is a scattershot, -sink approach.

Todd plays "Ghetto Supastar" on the piano. PRAS ft. Mya & Ol' Dirty Bastard - GHETTO SUPASTAR (THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE)A one-hit wonder retrospective. Todd: As much as I wish it wasn't, "One-Hit Wonder" is a very loosely defined term. How big does a song have to be before it counts as a hit? What if they have more hits in other countries? There's no real guidelines.
Pras ~ Ghetto Supastar. It's difficult to tell whether Pras's debut, Ghetto Supastar (riding on the infectious 1998 summer jam of the same name), is intended as an 18-track infomercial for the newest rap collective, the Refugee Camp (star campers include Canibus, Most Wanted, and head counselor Wyclef Jean) or an elaborate parody of self-proclaimed rap prodigies.
