You'll Never Know How Much I Needed You Today". "American album certifications – Conway Twitty – Greatest Hits Volume I". Recording Industry Association of America. "American album certifications – Conway Twitty – Conway Twitty%27s Greatest Hits Vol. II".

In 1973, Twitty released "You've Never Been This Far Before", which was number 1 in country for three weeks that September and also reached number 22 on the pop charts. I like Conway on classic-which means guilt- or songs. I don't like him so much when he starts comparing his wife invidiously to some idealized Linda, Georgia, or honky-tonk angel. Throughout much of Twitty's country music career his recording home was Decca Records, later renamed MCA. He signed with the label in late 1965 but left in 1981, when it appeared MCA was marketing and promoting newer acts; management at the label had changed, in addition to other factors that brought on the decision.

I don't know what I'm saying as my trembling fingers touch forbidden places I only know that I have waited for so long for the chance that we are taking I don't know and I don't care what made you tell him you don't love him anymore and as I taste your tender kisses I can tell. you've never been this far before  . Dan, do you recall how much your first songwriter royalty check was for? No, I don't remember the first royalty check. Or the first one you can remember. I wanted to learn to engineer, to produce and I needed time to write. If I'd hit the road - and I probably could have, on some kind of deal - I would've got nothing wrote. And I'd been a wreck when I came off the road. That was the open door for me. That's why Rick hired me.

The legend, the one and only, Mr. Conway Twitty. We remember and celebrate the life of a one of kind artist, Conway Twitty, who passed away 25 years ago today. Thank you to his many fans who help keep his music alive. 509. 71. 386. 20. Hello Darlin by Conway Twitty.

I can almost hear the stillness as it yields to the sound of your heart beating and I can almost hear the echo of the thoughts that I know you must be thinking and I can feel your body tremble as you wonder what this moment holds in store and as I put my arms around you I can tell you've never.
