Contains 13 of YMO's previously released albums and one bonus disc. The full list of included LPs in this box is as follows: YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA(US) SOLID STATE SURVIVOR PUBLIC PRESSURE X∞ MULTIPLIES(増殖) X∞ MULTIPLIES BGM TECHNODELIC NAUGHTY BOYS NAUGHTY BOYS(INSTRUMENTAL) SERVICE AFTER SERVICE BONUS DISC. Since it is unknown whether YMO recieved permission to use the music from these games, the album has currently been labeled as a doujin album, though this only refers to the two tracks mentioned above and is not a reflection of the nature of the album as a whole.

Public Pressure will come with replicas of the multitrack tape labels from the live recording of the concert at The Venue in London on Oct. 16, 1979; replicas of backstage passes from their Trans Atlantic Tour; replica of the YMO fan club membership card; and reprinted LP jackets, obi and liner. A 2003 interview with Japanese singer-songwriter Akiko Yano, who participated in the group’s tour at the time, will also be included. Multiplies will be equipped with track sheet replicas; reprinted cardboard case and album cover; and reprinted album cover, obi and poster of the original .

Yma Sumac's second album "Legend of the Sun Virgin" performed to approximate an Incan ritual. Numerous reissues have since been released.

This vinyl-only release is a short collection of greatest hits designed as a promo record to showcase HMV/Victor home audio equipment in Japan. Its designation as a promo-only item makes it a cool curiosity (as does it’s totally rad metallic cover) but its lack of any rarities or remixes designates it as a pretty curio and not much else. Gotta be honest, this is probably the YMO album I listen to the least, even less than Technodon. I really do like Naughty Boys too, it’s just that most of the songs on it don’t really lend themselves to the instrumental treatment. Also included are the live albums Public Pressure and After Service, and the Naughty Boys Instrumental LP.

YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra). A&M Records, A&M Records, Festival Records, Festival Records.

This album is more focused on atmosphere and mood, some even say this album is a turning point for YMO and the international Pop music scene.

Notes

LPs include all original inserts and obi strips, although these are blank on the back (the originals usually promoted other releases).
The first X∞ Multiplies (ALJA 5) is pressed here on 12" not the usual 10", and the sleeve looks like the UK pressing of that album. It also includes a fold-out insert.
The second X∞ Multiplies (ALJA 6) includes a 24" x 24" double-sided poster.
Service has a red obi not the usual black obi. The red obi was used for one of the mini LP CD pressings!
The bonus EP features an interview with Hosono, "Computer Game" and "Firecracker" play in the background.
The live version of "Rydeen" included here was performed live on the TV show "Yoru No Hit Studio" and only otherwise appears on the video/laserdisc release "TV-YMO".
A red YMO handkerchief is also included.

Totally agree with ryosuke63-san's review

Instant YMO collection. Buy this if you're ever lucky enough to find it. The only other thing you could hope to get is the Analog Box Set released around the same time. To review this release would be to review YMO as a band entirely, and that's just impossible. Easily one of the best bands of all time, YMO's body of work is absolutely stunning. As expected of a three-man(God?) supergroup - pairing the classically-trained brilliance of Ryuichi Sakamoto with the experienced and funky Hosono and the stylistically sensible Takahashi, YMO are as close as you can get to perfection in the often-imperfect world of music.
