Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine is the second compilation album by American rock band The Doors (following 13) and the first following the death of singer Jim Morrison, released in January 1972. The album's title is a lyric from the song "The En. The cover was designed by Bill Hoffman, with a gatefold jacket containing band shots by Joel Brodsky and liner notes by Bruce Harris, national publicist for Elektra Records.

A compilation album by The Doors released shortly after Jim Morrison’s death in 1972, only pressed once. Was reissued again on vinyl in 2014, almost exactly a year after the death of Ray Manzarek. In addition, two obscure b-sides- Who Scared You (the March 1969 flipside to Wishful Sinful ) and a cover of Willie Dixon’s (You Need Meat) Don’t Go No Further (the 1971 flipside of Love Her Madly )-were included, filling out the official tracks recorded and released with Jim Morrison.
