Saw Delight is a music studio album recording by CAN (e Rock) released in 1977 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. As many of you already know, this album marks the first truly drastic lineup changes in the band (in the past it was simply lead singers coming and going). Holger Czukay seemed to be a bit tired of the band, so now he gave up on the bass and started using short wave receivers. The band added bassist Rosco Gee and percussionist Reebop Kwaku Baah, both formerly of TRAFFIC.

Band Name Can. Album Name Saw Delight.

I hear very cool funk rock and world beat music similar to what the Talking Heads would be doing a few years later with random radio blips and upbeat Afro pop ("Sunshine Day and Night"). That brings us to "Saw Delight," which is the first one that you don't need to own. The band could still groove, and new bassist Rosko Gee fits in very well. Unfortunately, there is little of interest here in terms of composition. Don't Say No" is just a reworking of "Moonshake. It would be fine as a live piece or as a bonus track, but here it is the opening track on an original album, which is a very bad sign. In fact, the problems begin even before you put the disc in your player, as you contemplate the ugly cover art and lame title.

Out of Reach is the tenth studio album by the German krautrock band Can, released as an LP in 1978 on Harvest Records.

Can. Released March 1977. Saw Delight Tracklist.

Saw Delight is the ninth Can studio album, and features two new band members who were ex-members of the band Traffic, Rosko Gee and Rebop Kwaku Baah, with Can's bassist Holger Czukay giving up the bass in favour of experimental effects. The music itself works as an attempt at world music with the extra percussion adding to this vibe, and precedes the mid-1980s world music trend set by artists such as Paul Simon and Peter Gabriel.
