The original is one of those records that sits on a fine line between silly tosh and greatness. You have a standard beat with this utterly simple melody running through most of the track and then those infamous speak & spell vocals. The original had enough variety to pull of being a really simple track, one of the key moments is when things get switched up 3minutes in. Dave Clarke utilized that part entirely for his remix, looping it up and strapping on a hard kick under. Dave's remix seems almost more gimmicky than the original on a first glance but it works on the dancefloor. Fatboy Slim did his usual thing with his remix, switched up the groove to a breakbeat and some funky grooves added. SCO gets rid of the original beat aswell, and works up the track to a techy house groove, dropping elements of the vocal here and there and building it up hard. 4minutes in you hear a harder kick being tacked on and you expect a big climax but SCO tear it down to then introduce some of the original elements, including the melody.
