Voivod (or Voïvod) is a Canadian heavy metal band from Jonquière, Quebec. The band's current line-up consists of Denis "Snake" Bélanger (vocals), Daniel "Chewy" Mongrain (guitar), Dominique "Rocky" Laroche (bass) and Michel "Away" Langevin (drums). Their musical style has changed several times since the band's origin in the early 1980s

This album is thrash in its rawest form. The way the singer growls and snarls is amazing! The production is raw and crunchy but in a strange way it adds to the punkish vibe this album gives off. The riffs are distorted in a strange way but somehow they fit in. The drums aren't too bad but they aren't anything spectacular either.
