I think this compilation was for new generation of YMO kids. Especially for outside of Japan, targeting non Japanese audience. I like one particular track on this album called "Key" remixed by Brian Eno from their "Sankia Concert" (the band, disband in 1983) 1983 and you can hear more Sakamoto's keyboards than original version which is in album called "After Service". Anyway, why am I giving four starts out of five?

The Mass is an album released in 2003 by Eric Lévi's musical project Era. It is Era's third album. It achieved success in several European countries Videos were shot for "The Mass" and "Looking for Something"; featuring actors Pierre Boisserie and Irene Bustamante.
Sneer at it because there are already way too many Yellow Magic Orchestra comps in the bins already, but the plainly titled YMO does serve a purpose. Plus, raising money for the Japanese Red Cross Society's relief fund for the victims of the 2011 Japan earthquake is one great purpose, but this compilation is also one of the few to feature the Japanese trio's post-YMO project HASYMO, represented by the closing number, "Tokyo Town Pages.
