Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe were a progressive rock band active from 1988 to 1990 that comprised four past members of the English progressive rock band Yes. Singer Jon Anderson left Yes as he felt increasingly constrained by their commercial and pop-oriented direction in the 1980s. He began an album with one of the band's line-ups from the 1970s with guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, and drummer Bill Bruford, who invited Tony Levin to play bass.

The album "Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, Howe" was released in 1989 to enthusiastic responses from prog fans. Gone were the radio- friendly, "Big Generator"-type, tracks; this was a full-blown return to the soaring YES epics of old; with the very first lines of the album boldly stating Jon's intent to once again set his music free from the enslaving corporate bonds which had held it for so long. The album opens with the semi-prog of "Themes," a medley of three, well, themes, including "Second Attention," in which lead singer (and ABWH mastermind) Jon Anderson declared his independence from Yes, of which ABWH is an acknowledged spin-off (their 1993 live album, released after the band was folded back into Yes, was called An Evening of Yes Music Plus). Anderson's claim that Yes had become too commercial for him has always struck me as dubious - - but I digress.

Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe is the only studio album by the English progressive rock band Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe, released in June 1989 on Arista Records. The group formed in 1988 after singer Jon Anderson left Yes and reunited with former Yes members Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman, and Steve Howe to start a new band.

Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe, a splinter group of Yes, released their only studio album on June 20, 1989. The album sold extremely well. Why 'Brother of Mine' wasn't a hit I've no idea at all," he grumbled.

Brother Of Mine is a singles album released in 1989 by the group formed by vocalist Jon Anderson, drummer Bill Bruford, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, guitarist Steve Howe with Tony Levin on bass. For all that, it's a pedestrian effort for these veterans, not as bombastic as some of their stuff, not as inspired as others, but it definitely has the "Yes" sound. She Gives Me Love" even refers to "Long Distance Runaround.

Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe is the self-titled album by four alumni of YES: Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman, and Steve Howe, released in 1989. The group was unable to use the name YES for legal reasons. However, the group did have Arista assign the catalog number of 90126 to the original releases of the CD and cassette. This was their subtle way of stamping Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe as the next YES album after 90125.

Does this copy comes with a cover or not, looks like a Promo, as the same track on both side, and the regular 7" had "Themes - ii) second attention" as B-side. Can somebody confirm?

Side A: Brother Of MineSide B: Brother Of Mine, Vultures In The CityThere is a mistake on the cover and on the label. The song Themes is not included on this release at all.
