The Willie Mitchell Combo, The Four Kings. Original Memphis Rhythm 'n' Blues. WILLIE MITCHELL & FOUR KINGS- WALKING AT YOUR WILL.

Bryant joined the label in the late 1950's as a singer and songwriter of the band the Four Kings, which at the time scored the hits, Tell it to Me Baby and Walking at Your Will. However, with the label eventually welcoming other young and hungry singers such Green and Peebles, the label's in house music producer Will Mitchell made them his priority and Bryant settled in the role as songwriter. While he managed to release the vibrant Precious Soul, Bryant harbours no misgivings regarding the label’s change of focus. The message of the album lies in its title, Bryant says. When it comes to all matters of the heart, from love itself to the creative process, Bryant urges people to just keep going. That is what I learned.

More than the critical acclaim, however, the power of the album lies in capturing a sound thought to be permanently retired in the annals of soul music. Described as the Hi Rhythm, the name stems from the legendary in-house band of Memphis soul music label Hi Records. Bryant joined the label in the late 1950's as a singer and songwriter of the band the Four Kings, which at the time scored the hits, Tell it to Me Baby and Walking at Your Will.

The song was written by the songwriting team of Isaac Hayes and David Porter, who came up with the title of the song spontaneously when Hayes was trying to get Porter to hurry out of the Stax Studios restroom and get back to songwriting. She also performed it on the first leg of her Twenty Four Seven Tour in 2000. King and Eric Clapton covered the song on their joint album Riding with the King, released in 2000.
