The Billboard Hot 100 is a chart that ranks the best-performing songs in the United States, published by Billboard magazine. In the 2000s, each chart's "week ending" date was the Saturday of the following two weeks. The data were compiled by Nielsen SoundScan based collectively on each single's weekly physical (CD, vinyl and cassette) and digital sales, airplay, and streaming. Only physical sales were counted prior to 1998, when Billboard magazine incorporated airplay into its methodology.
Let It Loose/Anything for You is the 10th studio album by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine, released in 1987. Daft Punk’s first album had helped refresh house music in the mid 1990s; the second went further, rewriting electronic pop’s pleasure principles to such a degree that when it came out a lot of people thought Discovery must be a put-on. They took the joy in the record for irony. Rather, the band had simply plunged into the raw popstuff of their 70s childhoods, from AOR to disco, Buggles to Manilow, rock to robotics. Discovery was simply the decade’s best good-times record, with Daft Punk as pyramid-toting party wizards and the chipmunk Kraftwerk of Harder Better Faster Stronger their anthem. But this most celebratory of records has a bittersweet streak, too: Daft Punk know that a rush always carries the risk of exhaustion.

Right on the cusp of 2000, this still bops. 33. "It Feels Good" by Sonique. This song is so underrated. Justice for this moody dance smash! 32. "This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan. This song should be higher but there's too much competition this high on the list! I will say this: "jump to the rhythm jump jump to the rhythm jump!" is one of the most fun lyrics of any '90s dance song to sing. 11. "What Is Love" by Haddaway. Just missed the top 10. Don't be mad. Don't hurt me no more. 10. "Missing (Todd Terry Remix)" by Everything but the Girl.
