Killing Time is the debut album by American experimental rock band Massacre. It was released in September 1981, through record label Celluloid. It consists of a compilation of recordings made at Martin Bisi's OAO studio in Brooklyn, New York City in June 1981, and live recordings taken from their April 1981 Paris concerts. The group disbanded shortly after, eventually reforming in 1998 with Charles Hayward replacing Maher on drums and further recording three more albums.

Killing Time is the twelfth track off of American Heavy Metal band Metallica 's cover album Garage, Inc. disc two. Originally performed by the Northern Irish band Sweet Savage, not to be confused with the American band of the same name, it was first covered by Metallica on the B-side of the The Unforgiven single.

Conquest, Killing & Kilij: 6 Crucial Battles in the History of the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire was founded by Osman, an Oghuz Turkish tribal leader at the end of the 13th century. The Turks came to Europe in 1354 and created one of the world’s most powerful states in the 15th and 16th centuries. After taking Byzantine territory in Anatolia in the 14th century, the Ottomans finally took the city of Constantinople in 1453 and renamed it Istanbul.

Some of the tunes, such as the charmingly offbeat "Legs" and "Aging With Dignity" were clearly composed ahead of time - probably by Frith, given his already-established penchant for combining weird instrumental textures and unusual time signatures with cute melodies. Others, just as clearly, are group improvisations. Those who think they don't care for improvised music are advised to give "Subway Heart" and "Tourism" a try before making any judgments
