Hype Williams - Getting Along Just Shines / Guccistreams download mp3 album
Listen to guccistreams 2, a new release from Hype Williams. Last year, Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland's much-adored project Hype Williams returned with a new album called 10/10, though neither of the group's original members were involved in its creation. As Tiny Mix Tapes points out, it's a follow-up to the 2010 EP Getting Along Just Shines, Guccistreams.

Titled Guccistreams 2 - an apparent follow-up to 2010’s Getting Along Just Shines, Guccistreams EP - the four-track release captures a subdued, free-flowing series of chunky synths, flopping bass riffs, and swerving guitar lines. I should probably say woozy too.
Hype Williams - the recently revived, eternally elusive project that may (or may not) be Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland - has released a new EP titled Guccistreams2. The four-track EP surfaced on The Internet Archive earlier today as a free download, making it the first release since the project resurfaced last year with the album 10/10. It’s been unclear since Hype Williams returned whether Blunt or Copeland are involved and the only information provided with this release is a lyric from the rapper .
As is par for the course with Hype Williams, there's no information to contextualize the release. It's not even clear whether it's the work of original members Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland, one of them individually or a group of entirely different musicians.
org for a presumably new set of Hype Williams tracks, fantastically showcases the unreal power of emotional impact that can come from the simple.
Hype Williams is a music and art group best known for consisting of UK-born artist Dean Blunt and Russian-born artist Inga Copeland (aka Lolina) between 2007 and 2012. Supposedly founded in 2005 as a "relay" project passed between artists every five years, the group has given few interviews, leaving music journalists and the media in doubt as to the exact nature of the project.
After dropping Guccistreams 2 just yesterday, Hype Williams return with yet another release. This one’s called Chalice and features seven tracks of loose, warped interplay between detuned guitars, junkyard percussion, and the occasional synth. The soundtrack to early-morning dumpster rides. A requiem for your dead fish. A calm, unremarkable descent into the abyss.
While they state that they are no longer actively a part of Hype Williams, a project was dropped today for free via The Internet Archive earlier today as a free download. The notorious trolls last released 10/10 when it surfaced onto the internet last year. Blunt released a debut album off his Babyfather project, while Copeland released work under her Lolina moniker. Listen to the project below.
